How to Use Roblox Fast Flags
You never edit Fast Flags by hand inside the Roblox client — you use a third-party tool that writes them into a config file (or injects them) before the client starts. Which tool you need depends entirely on your platform, and how much it can actually change depends on Roblox's allowlist. If you haven't read what Fast Flags are yet, start there first.
Non Risk vs. full-access tools
Every tool on our tools page falls into one of two buckets:
- Non Risk — only ever sets flags on Roblox's own official allowlist, so there's nothing to misconfigure outside it. AppleBlox (macOS), Sober and Lution (Linux), and Chevstrap (Android) all work this way.
- Full-access tools reach beyond the allowlist and carry an actual risk rating instead — from low (FFS.Xyz, Masterstrap's packaged build) up through medium (Roblox-Fastflag-Manager, Voidstrap) to high (Masterstrap's script variant, which executes scripts rather than just applying a config).
By platform
- Windows — FFS.Xyz or Masterstrap (instance build) for low-risk, full-access changes; Voidstrap if you also want Bloxstrap-style bootstrapper customization.
- macOS — AppleBlox, Non Risk by design (allowlist only). Masterstrap and Fleasion list broader desktop support but rate lower on our confidence scale — check current status before relying on them.
- Linux — Sober is the runtime itself; Lution sits on top of it as the bootstrapper. Both Non Risk, allowlist only.
- Android — Chevstrap, Non Risk, allowlist only.
- iOS — no dedicated tool listed yet. iOS shares most of the same flags as Android under the hood, but nothing here applies them on iOS specifically at the moment.
General process
1. Pick a tool for your platform above. 2. Find the flags you want — either search the database directly, grab a premade list, or describe what you want in the generator. 3. Apply them through the tool and restart Roblox. 4. If something breaks or looks wrong, remove the flag — Fast Flags aren't permanent, and clearing your config restores default behavior.
Every tool listed carries its own real risk rating — read it before installing anything, and prefer open-source builds you can inspect. Nothing here is affiliated with Roblox Corporation.
