Roblox Fast Flags for FPS

These are flags actually shipped in our premade lists — not a guess at what might help. Every claim below links to the real flag page so you can check it yourself.

Confirmed-effective (in our presets)

  • FIntRenderShadowIntensity — shadow darkness, 0-1. Setting it to 0 removes visible shadows entirely. Used in both our Potato Graphics and No Shadows presets.
  • DFFlagEnableMeshPreloading2 — preloads meshes ahead of time instead of streaming them in on demand, reducing pop-in and load-driven stutter. Part of Potato Graphics.
  • DFFlagDebugPerfMode — enables an internal performance mode that trades visual fidelity for frame rate. Part of Potato Graphics.
  • FFlagDebugDisplayFPS — doesn't change performance itself, but shows an on-screen counter so you can measure the effect of everything else on this page. Its own preset.

Network-side (affects smoothness, not raw FPS)

DFIntS2PhysicsSenderRate controls how often the client sends physics/position updates to the server. Higher values replicate more frequently, which reduces desync and rubber-banding — this affects perceived smoothness, not your local frame rate. It's the core flag in our BetterSync and Desync presets (used in opposite directions).

Apply as a preset

Rather than setting these one at a time, grab the Potato Graphics or No Shadows preset from /lists, or describe your goal to the generator and let it assemble a config. See how to use Fast Flags for which tool applies them on your platform.

Every flag's actual effect can change between Roblox client updates. Check recent changes if something on this page stops working as described.
